Di Vita Organic started out of a need to live a healthier more holistic lifestyle. I was diagnosed with PCOS. I was basically told there was no cure and all they could do was help manage my symptoms with medication. I listened to the doctor and tried all the medication, which only made things worse from the side effects. One day I got fed up and decided I was gonna figure this out. So, I took to the internet I researched and learned all I could about PCOS with insulin resistance. I found many blogs about people reversing their PCOS through diet and a more holistic lifestyle. So when my husbands job moved us from our home town of  Charleston, SC to Salinas, CA I felt it was kismet. California is a much easier place to live a healthy and holistic lifestyle then my home in the south.

About a year in to living in Ca I joined a local co-op. A few months later I got very involved in that co-op behind the scenes. I soon realized that it was not the right fit for me. I believe that wellness is not a one size fits all. Everyone is unique so what works for one person may not work for another. Wellness is not just about our bodies. It is about our whole-selves mind, body and spirit.  So I left that co-op , along with several other people.

I still wanted the community, the organic and holistic products at great prices, and I wanted to make a difference in my community. I wanted to educate people on all the different ways to be healthy. Because as I said wellness is not a one size fits all. Enter my good friend Darcy, who like me was diagnosed with a hormonal imbalance and also has a child with severe allergies. She had been living the holistic lifestyle for a bout a year. I told her my thoughts of starting my own co-op and she agreed it was a great idea. So together with our wonderful husbands we founded Di Vita Organic.

We pride ourselves on meeting people where they are in their journey and helping them become the best versions of themselves they want to be. We don’t just offer products. We offer education, motivation, and support to our members. We look at our members as family. We hope they feel the same way about us.
